In November 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to contribute to Cœur de Ville en Lumières, Montpellier’s annual event celebrating the city’s iconic landmarks through video mapping. This event transforms the city into a luminous spectacle, combining design and technology to kick off the festive season.
Collaborating with my classmates at ESMA, we designed a 4-minute projection inspired by the theme of dance. Our work was divided into three parts—classic, festive, and contemporary—each reflecting a unique facet of Montpellier’s vibrant identity.
The creative process was both intense and rewarding, requiring two months of collaboration, countless design iterations, and a shared vision to bring our concept to life. Adding to this unforgettable experience, I was interviewed by France 3, where I shared insights into our work and the journey behind the project.

I worked alongside Mayssa Beschir, Ilhona Braïda, and Pauline Esplugas on the festive scene, a 2-minute sequence full of energy and joy. Within this segment, I created and animated a 30-second part featuring over 600 unique elements. Additionally, I had the opportunity to create the title sequence for BTF! The project highlighted the flamingo—a regional symbol—and brought Montpellier to life through its trams, architecture, and other local emblems, all infused with rhythm and vitality.
Seeing our work projected onto Montpellier’s architecture and celebrated by the local community was an incredible honor.
